What we license

What company data can you sell for AI training?

The most valuable data is the operating history your business already generates every day. Three categories cover most partnerships.

01

Finance + accounting

QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and similar systems: invoices, estimates, AP and AR, and the transaction history behind them.

Accounting / ERP / Invoicing

02

Customer records

Salesforce or HubSpot CRM, service histories, support tickets, and the record of how requests and issues got resolved.

CRM / Records / Support

03

Scheduling + delivery

Jobs, dispatch, calendars, Asana or Jira, and the project and service records that show work moving start to finish.

Scheduling / Projects / Dispatch

Your business stays in control

01

Purpose is fixed first

Use, data categories, volume, privacy constraints, and acceptance criteria are agreed before anything is collected or transferred.

02

Ownership stays defined

Transfer is not treated as an unrestricted handoff. Ownership and granted rights remain governed by your agreement.

03

De-identified + reviewed

Cleanup rules are matched to your source and approved use, then tested against the agreed release standard before release.

04

Retention + deletion

Terms set per engagement, with deletion and suppression workflows. No indefinite use outside the agreed scope.

FAQ

Selling company data to AI companies

How much is my company's data worth?

It depends on which systems you run, how many people generate data in them, and how many years of history you hold. Partnerships are commonly worth $100K or more. The fastest way to find out is the free data value estimator: three questions, about 30 seconds, no email required.

Is it legal to sell company data for AI training?

Yes, when it is done under a proper licensing agreement covering the data you have the rights to share. Every Nyne partnership fixes the purpose, data categories, volume, privacy constraints and acceptance criteria in an engagement-specific agreement before anything is collected or transferred. This page is an informational overview, not legal advice.

What about customer privacy and confidential information?

Data is de-identified before release. Cleanup rules are matched to your source systems and the approved use, then tested against the agreed release standard. Names, identifiers and customer-specific details are removed, and you can exclude categories entirely.

Which systems and data types qualify?

Finance and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite; CRM and support systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot, including service histories and tickets; and scheduling, dispatch and project management tools such as Asana and Jira. If your business runs on other systems, that history is often just as valuable.

Who buys the data and what is it used for?

AI companies license it to train models on how real businesses actually operate: how invoices move, how support requests get resolved, how projects run start to finish. Use is restricted to the purpose fixed in your agreement.

Do we lose ownership of our data?

No. Transfer is not an unrestricted handoff. Ownership and granted rights remain governed by your agreement, with retention and deletion terms set per engagement, including deletion and suppression workflows.

How does payment work?

You are paid under a licensing agreement whose scope, rights and acceptance criteria are agreed up front. Amounts depend on the type and volume of data available. Start with an instant estimate or a scoping call.

What happens on the first call?

Fifteen minutes to map which systems you have, what that data could be worth, and how the process works. No preparation and no commitment required. Pick a time.
